Hi, I am not very computer literate, but I do try my best to learn and pick up information somewhat ok. I have a sempron 2500+ processor which is supposed to operate at 1.7-1.8ghz, but my system says it is only operating at 1.4ghz. I have gone into the "Bios" blue screen, oh yeah I run Windows XP, and have gone into the CPU info on the BIOS screen and tried changing the numbers around, but the max I am allowed to change is to "133/133" and I have heard that it should be around "166/166". I have no clue what to do. My motherboard used to run an Athlon XP 2400 at 1.74 ghz but it burned out, I dont know what to do. Can anyone help me? Im at rondis23@hotmail.com and rondis9 if you use AOL messenger. Greatly appreciate your help!
