Ok system 3 in my sig is having some problems. Every time I try to open Word Pad the system will freeze on me. Everytime I go on the internet and download stuff it freezes and it shows a black screen. I tried taking out the extra 512 MBs and it just made the problems worse. I tested and looked at the motherboard and nothing is wrong with it. I'm thinking maybe its an IDE cable thats going bad or I might have to reinstall the OS. What do you guys think could be the problem?

I would think that it may be the IDE cable or the HDD going out...

Ok I fixed the problem. It was a bad IDE cable. Now the system runs great.
