Hola have the following problem have a CPU AMD SEMPRON 2300 + FSB 333 MHZ CACHE 256 KB SOCKET TO and a plate asus a7v400-mx and DDR 256 MB. pc 2700 333 mhz the problem is that the system says to me that it is an amd athlon xp 950 MHz and deberia to run to 1583 MHz from the bios I cannot change the fsb that cannot select the opiones I put the jumpers of the plate mother in 166 but it(he,she) continues in 100 mhz I have the last version of the bios that is a 1009 wait someone could help thank you

I have a similar problem but I am using a Sempron 3000+ socket A.
I changed the DSW switches from 100 MHz to 166.67 MHz and I get the same 1200 MHz processor speed in BIOS.
When I change the DSW switches to 200 or 133.33 MHz the BIOS does not boot.
Anyone know how I can get it to recognize the chip so the BIOS reflects the correct processor speed?
