I have built a new system comprising of:
Sempron 2500 CPU
K7S741MG-6L Winfast Motherboard
512Mb DDR PC3200 400Mhz memory

On power up the system does not self test. The keyboard lights flash once and the CPU fan runs and the FDD light comes on, but no display on the monitor. During build I kept the assembly static free.

Does anybody have any suggestion? /sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' />

Not familiar with that motherboard, but if its made by PCchips/ESC, then check to make sure the CMOS jumper is not in the clear position, As that is how they are shipped.
