Hi all

Please can someone give me advice on overclocking a sempron 3000+,

i used a program called speedfan(4.22) and altered the clock speed from 166 to

190 this says it has inceased the clock speed from 2000mhz to 2272mhz and i

used cpuz to confirm this

The motherboard has increased temperature to 55-60 degrees but the cpu has

remained constant at 45 degrees, is this succesfull or am i going to have

problems?

I believe your temps are either the otherway around, or a misreading.

55-60C motherboard temp is just too high. Actually, even 45C is pushing it... Your 3000+ is not the best overclocker because of the already high multiplier. I advise you to not push it any further than it is already...
