I leave the motherboard set at the default setting so it will automatically pick the speed up, but it detects a 1.36 instead of a 1.67. How do I fix it?

Manually set the FSB to 166 in *both* the bios and any motherboard jumpers switches, etc.

Note that you should have at least PC2700 memory to run that FSB.
