running asus a7v600-x with sempron 2500+ thorouhbred/kingston 2x512 ddr400
cpu is advertised as 333fsb. mobo supports cpu @ 1750mhz, cpu freq multiplier of 10.5x, external freq 166/33mhz -or- cpu @ 2100mhz, cpu freq multiplier 10.5x, cpu external freq 200/33 mhz.
if i run the cpu @ 2100 with external freq of 200/33, shouldn't that enable the ram to run @ 400mhz? or should i keep cpu @ 1750 with 166/33 external freq and run the ram @ 333mhz? will the cpu actually run @ 400mhz fsb, even though its advertised as a 333fsb? also, i am running retail box cpu fan, if overclock to 2100 should i get different cpu fan, and if so, which is a good one to get? currently using two case fans, one on back pulling out, one on side, pushing in. what is terminal temp for cpu?

well my 2500+ sempron came with the alunium with a copper core hsf

but it should work fine at 200fsb and ur ram will run that if it is indeed pc3200 ram


stock cooling should work fine, but i dont know, i know my 2400+ sempron with a all aluminum hsf stock cooler works great
