The Sempron will have a slight edge because of the fast FSB.

Unless the program in use depends on raw clockspeed, then the 2200+ will be faster... They both break even, IMO. I would choose the Sempron because of the faster FSB. It can make all the difference.

Thanks... I swap my Athlon XP 2200+ with a Sempron 2400+... have a problem though.... I have a Inno3d GeForce MX440 64MB AGP 8X but when I play PC games like NFSU, Raven Shield, Neerwinter, etc.. sometimes the graphics are thrashed in the R6 the dialogue box fonts is messed up is it because of the built in VGA? I thought at first it's because of the memory I have a 512 PC400 then change it to PC2700, then the VGA TNT2 32 MB
