I have an MSI K7N2 Delta2-LSR motherboard and a Sempron 2800 processor (should that be 2800+) (both purchased 48 hours ago) I have built the system but am wary of the bios settings. When I boot the machine the display says that the processor is running at 1200Mhz and the memory 200Mhz (the memory is 400Mhz dual channel Kingston 512Mb x 2)
I am new to building and this is my first go your help would be appreciated as when entering the bios it all seems complicated and all to easy to get wrong.

The AMD Sempron 2800+ runs at 2000 MHz, with a multiplier of 12x, and an FSB (Front Side Bus) frequency of 333MHz.

In your BIOS, you will need to set the FSB to 166 MHz.

This is because AMD Processors are double pumped ( 2 x 166 MHz = 333 MHz resulting system bus).
