Hi,
My friend bought a whole new computer yesterday, we built it, it all wen't smooth.

BUT when we turned it on, the processor was recognised as a Athlon XP 1200+ :/
so i changed the FSB jumper from 400/333/another one(default) to 200mhz, and it was still the same, i didn't configure the bios totally, theres alot of things i don't understand, would anyone be able to tell me if i have to change something in the BIOS?

thanks for the help
Mike

The FSB needs to be set to 166 (333DDR) in *both* the hardware (motherboard jumpers, switches, etc.) and the BIOS.
