hey all i have recently encountered a problem.

everytime i go to turn on my computer with the power switch, everything on the mothoerboard turns on but the monitor gets no signal, but if i press the reset switch then it will post fine, i am very confused as this happened to 2 of my computer, my sempron and my p4 but my athlon is fine.

the specs are in the sig and thank you in advance

can someone please help any ideas will be appreciated, this problem is really frustrating

Which rig is it? could be a bad mobo/ switch/ switch connection/ PSU.

it is both of them, stated in my sig, both have the exact same problem, could this be due to overclock.

and also the power swich turn my motherboard and cpu and all the fans on, my monitor however doesnt turn on untill i press the reset button.

Well aslong as it works its not that bad.

i suppose although it does get annoyin but im more afraid in the long run will it cause any damage to the hardware if it does not post propertly. for example sum settings are not set right in the bios or sumthing like that.
