All you on this forum who help idiots like me, you flippin' rock!
I have a 2800+ (2.0) that says it's a 1900+ (1.6) my FSB is set at 133 when I try to set it to higher, say 166, my system freezes and I have to reset my CMOS. Here are my specs, what's wrong?

If that doesn't work, here it is again.

Also where did you get the sempron 2800? Was it oem or in a retail box?

How are you setting the speed?

The memory in running way out of sync. Set the memory speed to run at the same speed.

133MHz > 266ddr
166MHz > 333ddr.

Set the bus speed to 166MHz and the memory speed to 333ddr and you should be good to go.

There are fake oem sempron 2800s out there which are reconfigured Geode NXs but I'd be surp[rised if Newegg are selling them.
