When you say shuts down after posts, do you actually see a post screen saying procesor etc? Are you able to enter the bios at all? If you are able to get into the bios check your temperature of your processor *usually found in the PC Health secion*. The Duron works just fine which is weird, btw you did change heatsinks when you went from the barton to the sempron, that is you are using 3 different heatsinks in total?
