So you are AMD experts,may be you can help me.

I have bought nest server


ProLiant BL685c G7
with 4 x AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 6174, 2200 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
and 64 gb of ram

The guest OS is W2008EE x64 and SQL Server 2008R2EE, the main issue is related with the performance for SQL Server against one ProLiant DL380 G6 2 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5560 @ 2.80GHz, 2800 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Really mi application and database work in an unique thread and processor by processor is more efficient the intel one, but really it's trye?

Please does anyone if I need some special configuration for the hardware?
