Hi...

From what happens on the AMD FX-8150 which has bulldozer core, is this scenario below make sense from business perspective.


In order to ship "Server" chip based on Bulldozer core, you have to provide the Quantity, the Quality and the Price, for suitable target for Bulldozer.
Since the performance of Bulldozer is not so good, then, as a factory, it does bin filtering, selecting the "Good" and "Excellent" parts, selectively separate "High Performance" or "Low Power", to be manufacture for sold as Interlagos, which will earn you more money

The "Average" and "Underperforming" parts will be packaged for Desktop version, which will be sold for less money



Unless 2 months is enough for revision and make into a better performing Bulldozer.
