I was wondering, wich thermal solution is included in the Boxed AMD Opteron products. I've searched the AMD main website but that turned out without any results. Hope someone can help me "

With the Retail version (at least here in the UK) you get the CPU and a heatsink/fan with the paste already applied nice and evenly to the bottom of it. It's a straightforward case of just popping the CPU into your motherboard and sticking the heatsink/fan on top.

Coolermaster is one of the vendors, the thermal material ishould be ShinEtsu
AMD uses a few different vendors to make the same heatsink, it's just smart to have more then one source for your parts.

I thought they used for example the SK8-7I53A from Coolermaster and re-labeled it but now it's clear to me now just wait for my Opteron (boxed) to be delivered
