I am looking for Opteron 175 Dual core and can't seem to find it. It is a 940 Pin.
When will it be released to the market?

Hi,
maybe never, cause AMD is switching the Opteron 1xy line to socket 939. I am very angry, too, as there is even a BIOS update for my old nforce3 mainboard to run dual core CPUs, but AMD already specified and published new OPN numbers for S939 Opterons, so these will come for 100% sure. That does not imply automatically that there will not be any Opteron 1xy dual cores, but it makes it very unlikly /sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /> In my personal Opinion, as long as the Asus SK8N cannot run dual cores, AMD wont produce S940 dual core CPUs, as this was the most sold single S940 board.

Opteron
P.S: In march AMD said that the 1xy dual core Opterons will be released during summer. But as long as there is high demand for more expensive 2xy or 8xy parts, why should they sell the DIEs for less money as cheaper 1xy Opterons ... According to the last quarter results, demand is high ...
