I've heard a few people mention a price drop on Opterons in mid-February. Is this a rumor or a confirmed report? If so, what was the source? Also, does anyone know if you can run dual Athlon FX51s or FX53s in a dual configuration? Thanks!

FX processors are only for single processor configurations. Even the old 940 socket FX's are single processor. They are all based on the Opteron 1xx series which are only for single processor systems. You'll have to go with an Opteron 2xx series or the old Athlon MP's if you want a dual processor system.
