This is a pretty basic question but I just wanted to be sure. Which is faster between the two? Lets say same amount of RAM and same hard disk. Does the 285 beat the 2210? Or the other way around? I've been searching for int rate comparisons around the web but always found the 2220 and 285 comparison. Any ideas?

Thanks

the 285 would be faster but you should go for socket f 22xx series... the performance of a 265 would be about the same as a 2210 since they are both 1.8 ghz... but the 2210 may perform a bit better.. maybe 5%

the 285 beats the 2210 but socket F has DDR2, virtualization, and is more upgradeable..
