I asked Biostar if the s939 Opteron would work with this board, but they said they haven't tested, and can't say for certain. Does anyone know for sure before I splurge the cash on this?
Also, I see the Athlon64 3700+ San Diego E6 is priced $50.00 less than the Opteron 148 at the same clock speed, and cache. The only difference I can tell is tha the Opteron is a more rugged chip, and it uses the E4 stepping. At stock speeds, which performs better?
