Greetings all.

I am looking at spec''ing an Opteron solution using 32bit Windows server (2000/3)

In the absence of a 64bit O/S. How much memory can an Opteron based system, running Windows server 2000(32BIT), address?

Above the 4GB limit, does the Opteron have the ability to use PAE (yuck) in lieu of having a true 64bit O/S? Or do AMD64 extensions exclude PAE as an interim measure?

If someone from AMD on this board can answer authoritatively, it would be appreciated. All other responseS welcome too as I would suspect those of you running Linux and Windows may have tried to test this scenario as well.
