HI. What tools does AMD provide that expose the Opteron Performance counters? Does anyone else here have any software to access them?

I'm not entirely sure if i understand your question, but if you want to know what applications AMD uses to benchmark their Opteron processors you can find a list of benchmarks used for Server-systems here' ">http://www.amd.com/us-en/Proce...96_8800%5E8801,00.html.

Not sure what OS you're using, you can use AMD CodeAnalyst' ">http://www.amd.com/us-en/Proce...5%5E869%5E3604,00.html or one of the other Profiling and Performance Analysis tools' ">http://www.amd.com/us-en/Proce..._11869%5E11879,00.html especially one of the PAPI ones.

I am probably on Windows or Linux when I can get my hands on my own system. But it looks like CodeAnalyst might just do the trick.
Thanks Guys.
