Hi, im about to run new server from this summer on that will be used for rich server web applications and communication between other apps. I've allways been with AMD but now with lot of stuff i havent watched the market like 2 years and i need to get in touch. My first concern is what type of precessor to use for this server. I heard about phenons and opterons as choices. So let's say what would be better quadrocore or dualcore, or what new technologies are about to come from AMD or be revisioned as ready for global usage. I would like to hear some brief resume on this topic.
