I would like to buy new HP proliant 585G5 and install 4 Quad-Core Processors (in summ I'll have 4Procc x 4 Core= 16 Cores)

How many processors have Windows 2003 Enterprise SP2 Supported???

How Microsoft licensed their Windows 2003 SP2 Ent for AMD Opteron processors??
By Core or Physical processor(socket)???

Microsoft licenses by the socket, not the core.
