Hi
I got an HP DL365 G1 with uptodate firmware. It currenly has two dual cores santa rosa opterons installed with 2GB 667 Ram. I'm planning to upgrade it to dual Shanghai quad cores and to remove the 667 ram and replace it with 4GB 800 ECC non REG ram. Will this work?
The HP ProLiant DL365 is optimized for space constrained installations. AMD Opterontm Dual-Core and Quad-Core processors, DDR2 memory, Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and PCI Express technology provide a high performance system ideal for the full range of scale out applications. What's more, the HP ProLiant DL365 provides fault tolerant in an ultra dense platform with redundant power, redundant fans, embedded RAID capability, and full-featured remote Lights-Out management.
