Hi there,

I am trying to setup a system using a MSI K8T Ultra with dual Opteron 250's.
The system is problematic when I have all 8GB of memory installed (I am getting graphical errors in a benchmark, but none with only 2GB installed. I know that WinXP can have issues when >=4GB is installed. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

I am using 4 Micron 2GB Sticks DDR333, cas 2.5 REG ECC
Part no: mt36vddf25672g-335d2

Thanks in advance,

Mike Gorman

AFAIK the usable memory limit of XP is 4GB. Even with the /PAE switch (did you already try it? If not, do it! more memory is not supported.
Maybe you should give Server2003 a try.
