Hi all
I am preparing to build a new system using AMD processors but am completel lost when i try to fathom what processors and Mboards to use,
So I need advice and recommendations on what make and type of AMD processors to use.
I wish to build a dual processor system, the last system i built was a Dual MP system,
so why, and can i use the opteron or AMD64bit in dual systems?
Are Operton and AMD64 processors much better or when balanced am i better sticking to MP processors, looking at the price lists its not my intentsion to pay more than a few hundred bucks per processors.
I noted that the Opteron processors 200 models , model 240 is around $200, where as the Athlon MP 2800 is around the same price, so any advice would be greatly apprciated.
