Hi Guys.
I going to get a AMD opteron 144/146 S939 processor, and i being sugested to used biostar-tforce motherboard. But in AMD web site i didnt saw this vendor. Therefor hope to get some advise from your guys?

1. Does biostar-tforce support this processor?
2. Any advise on getting a biostar-tforce motherboard?
3. was it worth to used this mother board on my Opteron processor?

1. the only way you can be 100% sure is if you were to open up the mfg.'s website and look at the CPU support chart for the board you are looking at.
2. i hear good things about their boards but dont have personal experiance with them. all i can say is to avoid their boards with VIA chipset. maybe thats just me but i see a better performance with nvidia or ati chipsets.
3. it should be fine. id read reviews like on newegg.com to see what other people have been experiancing with that board. maybe someone has an opteron and can tell you how the board is doing with the chip. i see you are getting the Opteron 144 so im guessing your going to be overclocking? if so, as long as the board has good overclocking capabilities, then you should be fine.
