hey all...
will i was missing around with the bios of my mobo ,i have an asus a8n sli premium and i found something called AI overclock so when i tried to miss around with it i found that you can overclock just by choosing what % you want to overclock so i did 3% and now my opteron 170 is running @2.6...now did i do that right ..i mean i didnt have to change any timings...fbs or anyhting...all what i did is the above...
so i was wondering...should i be waiting for something to burn soon ...or is that feature in the asus boards?...
also what is the diff between doing it this way and the old fashion way ?

thanks

thats not 2.6 ghz
thats 2.06 ghz

2000 mhz + 3% = 2060 mhz

if your going to use that automatic overclocking, may as well take it to the max.. what is it.. 10% ? so that would be 2.2 ghz
