the 939 mobos will take the PC4800 or PC4000

you may be able to find a modded bios for you motherboard to enable an fsb higher than 300

btw what ram are you using now. good pc3200 ram would let you use the 166 divider so it would run at 245 mhz with the 300 fsb.

to run ram at 1:1 so it would run at 300mhz the ddr500 (pc4000) may fall a bit short of that so in that case you should get ddr600

I have Corsair pc 3200 value ram at the moment. This is actually doing quite well and will get to about 220 without any voltage adjustments.

I have seen the OCZ Platinum range of pc 4800 which reviews have said will go above 315.

I doubt my cpu will get that far, but who knows I might get lucky and hit 2.9 ( 322)

Will follow up and let you know what happens when it all arrives. ( I will probably be back on asking why its broken /biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />
