Well I hope no one is using the Wintec Industries PC3200 Reg/ECC ram(Samsung PC3200 K4H60838F-TCCC chips), It just crashes My MSI K8T Master2-FAR, The place I bought It from www.logiccircle.com/' ">http://www.logiccircle.com/ said It was AMD approved and MSI approved and that other Master2-FAR users were using It just fine, They also said that My OSA244CEP5AL stepping cpus were not PC3200 compatible and that the best that My cpus could do was PC2700, And now They say that the ram I have is Intel Certified, But of course I don't have an Intel PC and I've requseted an RMA(For a Refund really), But I don't think They will refund My $133.00 and yeah that is what It cost Me for this junk ram, Heck I even flashed the Bios to 1.35 from 1.10 on advice from MSI, All that did was give Me 18 minutes and then It Crashed again. Logic Circle did email Me the address to The ram requirements to AMD Athlon64/FX & Opteron CPUs(Works now!' ">http://www.amd.com/us-en/Proce...2252_893_10125,00.html at least and then without checking It they contradicted themselves too. The Link above leads to an AMD.com website with 3 PDF files on the subject, I don't know about the Athlon 64 version, But the Opteron one and the FX one don't mention Wintec Industries at all. The website for the MSI K8T Master2-FAR mentions only 2 types of PC3200 Samsung ram as Compatible(M312L6420EG0-CCC) and I'm not interested in 256Mb so I won't list that one.

Well I read that the PC3200 support started in the AL stepping(OSA244CEP5AL), Which is what I have, In the Bios the minimum fsb speed for the ram is 200Mhz(233Mhz max), Not 166Mhz. I wish I could set lower than 200Mhz, I can adjust the vlink down but the minimum HT speed is 4, I can't reach 3, Just 4-9. And where in that PDF does It say that PC3200 support starts at 246? Most of It concerns the AMD chipset, I have a VIA K8T800 chipset and Yeah I was able boot into Windows XP Pro at 1.82Ghz too, My cpu is set at a vcore of 1.5v(Stock, Max is 1.55v) and I've had the ram at 2.50v to a max of 2.65v(It doesn't go beyond there voltage wise).
