I downloaded the free software for this program from the windows websites and tried to install it for about 10 hours yesterday. I have dual opteron 250 with a tyan k8w motherboard and 500 watts power and 1.5 gigz ocs ram. I belive I meet all the requirements. the problem I am having is after the first blue screen it says computer now restartng, well, it doesnt I left it for over an hour, nothing. So I restarted it my self and the software began to install and in the first stage of installing devices it just frezzes up at 34-33 min left. I left it there for up to 6 hours and nothing. I tried this at least 4 times and I am about to throw my system off my blacony. I also order the exact cd of windows xp 64bit directly from the microsoft and I have the exact same problems. Please some one help me!!!!!!

If you are using an ATi video card, try something different.

What version of the bios are you using on the K8W? Is it at least the 1.02 version.
I found that until I upgraded to at least that version there were some problems.

It could if there are not 64bit drivers for that card included with the OS. It could be stopping at that network resource trying to figure out what it is.
I recommend removing all unnecessary hardware before you try the install. Since it's beta software the less weird hardware it has to try and figure out the better off you are. Once the install happens then you can search and see if there are drivers for that OS for the unique hardware you have.

Cuular is right: Try to remove everything that you don't need. Just left CPUs, memory and VGA inside and try to install again. If you can finish the installation that way add the removed hardware one by one to detect problems.

I've successfully installed it on an ATI 9800Pro.
This weekend I'll be trying it on the X800XT.
