Would a MP2800+ cpu work in a Gogabyte GA-7VM400AM Mother board?

It probably would, although the bios may recognize it as a XP2600+ with 512k cache, or it may recognize it as a Sempron with the latest bios if the mainboard is compatible with semprons.
