Hi all AMD's

well I have a problem, I have an amd board A7M266-D very nice with 2 MP 2600
and since a 3 weeks I try to find out wath the problem is!!
well also I have this board since 2 month
by starting my board it come up WARRNING CPU0 MP incapable - WARRNING CPU1 MP incapable

I followed some Idees I sow in this forum but nothing help's
I beginn to be thired
If there is some one how can help me it will be fin.

description of my hardwear:

A7M266-D
2 x 2600 MP
512 MB ram 266
no overclocking
everything original in default
bus speed 133

just

bios upgread 1010 to accept bigger CPU

and for the moment I have desabled the part of turning the 2 CPU

Are you sure they are MP2600's and not XP2600's?

I have the exact same problem both MP's came right out of the box and have match stepping. OPN ASM2600DUT4C. Hopefully it is a BIOS update that Asus will perform shortly.

ohhh, I think I got this one. I downloaded the beta bios 1011a7md.003 from the asus website and at this time it says both processors are mp capable,however; in XP pros system only one AMD XP Processor shows up. ?? It seems to be running much faster now, but I don't have a warm fuzzy.
