hholtmann Junior Member Posts: 1 Joined: 11/18/2004	Just curious as to how far into the future AMD will be producing the current REV of its Athlon-MP 2400+ model. As far as I can tell, my dual-cpu ASUS A7M266-D motherboard (AMD-MPX-760 chipset) doesn't support anything after the Athlon-MP 2400+ cpus. I currently have two Athlon MP 1900+ CPU's and wonder how long I will be able to find/purchase MP 2400+ models. Heston Holtmann, B.Sc.Eng.

Elvis Member Posts: 148 Joined: 10/10/2003	Actually, I think the MP 2400+ is based on thoroughbred core (Model 8). So I don't even think it's even being manufactured anymore. So that leaves the 2600+ and 2800+. FYI - AMD's roadmap shows support into 2005 "as market requires". ------------------------- *Thank you...thank you very much.
