I'm running an AMD 2500+ on a GA-7N400-L. The CPU temp is 70c to 74c. I'm thinking this ia way too HOT. Am I right? I just swithched from stock fan and heat sink to a Speeze 5T208B1H3T. That didn't help at all. I have one intake fan in the front of the case and one exhust fan in the back not including the PS fan. The system is very unstable. It will just reboot at times. I also get memeory errors at times. I have 1.5 Gig of DDR Ram. Thanks in advanced for any input.
I was able to reduce the temperature in my system from 65 degrees to 50 degrees by cleaning the CPU fan blades and heat sinks. The fans were running at 4500 RPM before cleaning and 5000 after..
I also neatened up all of the internal cables by using plastic ties to attach them to the case frame or bundled them together with other cables where possible. This improved air flow through the case.
