I am trying to determine if I had a motherboard, memory, or CPU problem. I have a 1Ghz Athlon and I am wondering are there any utilities that I can make a boot disk from and test teh CPU to detrmine if it is good or bad. I am thinking since I just replaced the MB that it is now either the Memory or the CPU. I keep getting this page_fault_in_nonpaged_area after I finsh loading Windows XP pro and/or Win2k Pro. Any thought would be appreciated. Currently using an ECS board from an Asus.

MemTest86 is primerily a RAM tester but if it crashes that noramlly means you have a CPU or Mobo problem (or a bad PSU).

It boots off a floppy.
