Hello I have an Asus A7M266-D Board. From 4 weeks i have change my Memory from two 512Mb to two 1024Mb unbufferd! This is going and i have flash the BIOS to 1011 Betta for change my MP 1800+ to the new MP 2800+ The Memory will going good!
Now all are the MP 2800+ installed and after the Boot from my Windows 2000 Advanced Server, after the Login the System will waite 3 to 5 Minutes. Nothing will going, no Screen, no HDD activity...
..then all will work!
But I think this is not good. So the Taskmager will now have only one Windows for all CPU! This is new, bevore i have two Screen for CPU-0 and CPU-1. After the change of the MP 2800+ is this new!
Now i have rechange my Prozessor to the old 1800+ and the speed is like Sandra means. By the chage angain to the two 2800+and test with Sandra i will become only 85% from the two 1800%. But the 2800+ will work 45% faster.
Its like, that only one CPU dos work or the two work syncronmake tahe same Work.
Dose i Update the Bios of al lower version that 1011 Betta 3, so of 1010??? No, than will come an fault Warning that oll CPU are incable!
