i just got a new biostar motherboard the M7NCD-PRO and i have an AMD MP 1500+ im having problems booting, i accutally can not get past the BIOS, the post seems to be fine (gives the standard one beeb ok). however the load of the post and BIOS seem extreamly slow, getting into the BIOS is slow i have gotten into the settings of the BIOS and made changes which it does save. but i get no further. i looked that their CPU compatability "chart" and it states that the lowest recomended is and athlon 1.4gHz and there is no mention of the MP. now for the heart of the question, is it possible that the MP is only partially compatible or just tto slow? any help or ideas would be great

Basically, an Athlon MP is just an Athlon XP that has been tested/validated for use in a Dual-CPU configuration. That being said, they usually run in a single-CPU mobo without problems, if their respective Athlon XP-counterpart is supported...
Make sure you're using the correct settings for this CPU - 133MHz FSB, x10.0 multiplier, 1.75V Vcore(CPU-voltage). Maybe try to reset CMOS/remove battery...
