Hello!
I am currently running a Server with a MSI K7D-Master L (MS-6501) with dual MP 1800's and 2 GB RAM. I would like to purchase two new MP 2800's and drop them in this board.
However, I have heard that there are problems with certain versions of the MP 2800's and/or possibly inadequate power circutry on older versions of the K7D which will not allow them to run on this board. Are there known issues with this processor and motherboard? Should I purchase a particular version of the MP 2800?
I have the lastest BIOS (v1.82), and the board has been the most stable I have ever purchased, so I would like to keep it (if I can juice it up).
Thanks in advance.
