Heavy load on the PCI bus causes system freeze.
First keyboard and then mouse will cease to function, only option is to reset.
Problem is consistent and can be caused either by defragmenting or moving large datasets, i.e. sustained loads. Lockup can be reproduced with either IDE or SCSI disk. What's the preferred fix? buy an intel system?

did you install the latest drivers' "> for your motherboard?(i assume it's the K7D Master)
