Can anyone explain to me that when ever I try & use a 64bit Linux Distro or whatever I find it never boots up, I did get Ubuntu Distro to boot up once but that was a one off thing, so I am wondering why My AMD 64 PC wont boot up 64bit Disks but will boot 32bit Distros with out any problem, is it some thing to do with BIOS that needs changing etc?

Hard to know.
Was it spitting out any error messages?
Was it giving you a Kernel Panic (KP is the standard abbreviation for that)?
Was it just hanging?
Give us the symptons, and if no one can help you here, try the forums of whichever distributions you were using. If no one can figure it out I'm sure the developers of the various distributions would be interested so that they can fix it.
