I have a compaq presario Iwant to put new memory in it I have DDR 2700 333 mhz in it. I want to know if can change it out and put 3200 400mhz in it this is my specs.m Thank You

the fastest way to get an answer to that is to use the memory configurator at one of the Evendor sites.

and read all thetech data that it comes up with.
this one is to a memory manufacturer.

but i think you are going to find that the asus board is only going to support pc2700 or a DIMM that runs at 333MHz.
it can be used in the auto mode to run at 333MHZ if it is a DDR 400 DIMM.
I USE MINE THAT WAY.
