I am using a Tyan Tiger MP (S2460) mother board in my PC which has dual Athlon MP 1600+ processors on it. I would like to upgrade to faster/better AMD processors. What are my options, if any?

Check Tyans website for cpu compatibility.

Tiger MP S2460 1GHz to 1.2GHz and 1500+ to 1900+

So your max is 1900+, which isn't really worth the upgrade in my opinion. If you're in love with the platform then you could look for a second hand Tiger MPX or similar (with the MPX version of the 760 chipset) and stick a pair of 2600+ or 2800+'s in it. Bear in mind you're always going to be limited by the 133 FSB. If you've got the cash the best option is to go for a socket 939 motherboard and buy a Athlon 64 X2, which gives you a dual processor on one chip.
