Hi everyone, recently I have this idea of flashing my bios and use the OpenBios or Coreboot project, the thing is that I couldn't find evidence supporting that Coreboot actually works with my motherboard/chipset or any documentation about OpenBios compatibility.

I have an Acer Aspire 5100 with AMD Turion64 and Ati Xpress 1100 Chipset. I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can flash my bios using either OpenBios or Coreboot.

My mainboard is AM2+RS780+SB700.
I use "make menuconfig" command to choose motherboard.
I can only choose "Tilapia" project.
However, it is AM3+RS780+SB700.

So how can I replace the cpu code to AM2?
