I want to know how I can use the RAID from my Asus M4A78T-E AM3 motherboard. I read some posts here that suggested a cheap motherboard like mine probably has "BIOS Raid" and that it is better to use a software raid "mdadm."

Still, I already setup windows with the fake raid and would like to know how to do it for ubuntu if possible. Right now when I boot up the ubuntu live CD it sees two SATA Hard drives. TIA
