This message is dedicated for someone developing device drivers & optimization on OpenSource inside AMD

Can someone contribute to illumOS ( www.illumos.org ) / OpenIndiana ( www.openindiana.org ) ?

It is a fork off OpenSolaris, where illumOS is the "core", including kernels, and OpenIndiana is the OS Distro.

Since AMD Fusion attracts many HTPC / Embedded Computer, and since "The Future is Fusion", it is necessary to leverage integrated features of AMD Fusion into those kernels and distributions

I know AMD has good collaboration with Sun Microsystem (prior to acquisition), but not ORACLE ( Oracle said it will just support one vendor for x86, which is Intel )

Also, ATI implementation on Solaris is not as friendly as NVIDIA.
