I just turned on cool and quiet for the new amd cpu just to see how it is. It really throttles down the cpu for power savings. It drops the clock down to 800mhz and the vcore to .99 at idle. Ramps it up to 3ghz when needed. I am gonna leave it on for a bit to see how it affects things during normal usage and gaming. I have never really used cnq much before, but I am gonna see how it goes with it on for a while to test it out.

As far as I've read CNQ should work better with the new Phenoms than it did with the old. They've changed the way it works completely.
