The bios temps match those temps. I assure you that my readings are accurate.
I have posted on this forum before showing them matching exactly.

Please also note that I have the side of the case off and the 120mm fan you see in the pictures.
Mounted to the left more than in the picture blowing air on the pwm's and mosfet.

I believe what you're saying, I just don't believe that it's correct...

Checked a few more reviews of that cooler and it doesn't make sense.. all those reviews shows at least 6-7 above ambient with C'n'Q active.

Oh well, as long as it's running stable that's not much of an issue.. I just find it strange.

Look at above and previous statements about the cases ventilation and the fact that I have the fan set on full speed the entire time.

Im sure the reviewers had the fan idle down to 900rpm and yes then the temps are indeed above ambient by 6-7c.

Thanks for pointing this out Liq. so others may not be confused too.

Being as I do indeed have this setup for max. air cooling not your everyday closed case, fan set to idle rpm's config. going here.

I should have made that clearer.

*Fan 100% always, 120mm blowing directly on mosfet/pwms and 120mm exhaust, open case, ~70f ambient*

I'm the first to admit when I'm wrong, I'm not the hard headed type that won't ever admit making mistakes, I've done to many in my life to realise that.

It would be very interesting to see if those X6's really are running cooler than the "old" X4's as well as overclocking better because if they are then I'm gonna get one..

If you can show some temp readings with C'n'Q OFF and the CPU OC'd to at least 3.9 with your H50 I'd appreciate it.

I have those numbers your asking for with the 955 and H50 soon and they will be posted in the the reserved post.

You wouldnt say you where wrong but very right in that what info I presented wasnt accurate enough for those temps to make sense when compared to the data already out there.
Being as this isnt a normal users setup.

I would like to do the 955 on the air cooler but Im afraid I wont for sometime.
I recall the temps being very similar at stock however.

I will run the 1090T at stock with the H50 once I get the bios update for more accurate comparisons.

*lol 70c fixed to 70f lmao

Negative

0 = cpu, 1 = nb, 3 = sb

Look back over what yall are saying before say too much more.

slaveondope, here's your readings from above:

0 = 24
1 = 33
2 = 29

So you're saying that your NB (33) is running hotter than CPU (24).

I think Guru is right, 1 is your CPU and 0 is your NB.

Yes my NB runs hotter than my cpu at idle.

Please look over the data in front of you before questioning any further people.

Think about it cpu idling under clocked and volted with huge hsf on full speed fan vs. nb with tiny hs no fan. Which do you think will be hotter?

Dont you think it would be odd if my cpu temp only changed 4c under load?

Im becoming very worried about what yall are viewing your own temps as.

No, hasn't not.

On my Crosshair III TMPIN0 is my CPU temp, there's no doubt whatsoever about that. My LCD poster shows the same temp as HWmonitor does for TMPIN0

But..

I've had motherboards since I went AM2+ and above that's had either 0 or 1 as cpu temp so it's definately different between motherboards.

I am not saying that temp 0 is cpu on every motherboard.

On my biostar and dfi in this case both cpu temps are 0.

How you can seriously believe that the cpu temp would only change 4c under full load is pure stupidity, Im sorry.

I am with Slave on this, TMPINx varies for different boards... For me 0=MB or SB... 1=CPU...3=NB... GB 890GX UD4H. I have watched temps closely while under load
and matched them with BIOS... Also in my case (undervolted 965 C2) the CPU is 6C cooler than my NB (24/30) and the SB is 26

When the MoBo was running on my endtable (during painting) the SB climbed 10-11C with no air flow over it

post your 1090T info in the 1090 T thread also please.

So others can see when they go looking for info about the CPU.
