hello friends,i had bought a amd phenom iix4 965 be for my new rig.one year has passed and the stock fan has started making noise.i live in india and i have a 3 yrs warranty on my amd cpu.i love my rig but the noise is making me deaf.It feel like i have a beautiful girl friend with a loud irritating voice.

I am not sure if AMD will cover a warranty on just the fan or not. They might if you ask nicely.

Are replacement fans really expensive in India though? It might save a lot of time and trouble to look for a good, cheap replacement fan at a local shop if you can.

Have you cleaned your PC?

The stock fan is known to become loud because it is small and has high RPM.
